Body care is coming into focus right now, when legs are once again exposed to the (sun)light. Neglect from the winter is now becoming apparent. The skin is pale, the tissue less toned and firm. Payot offers a body care trio consisting of serum, cream and oil to counteract this. My legs need the complete package, so I tried all three. Moisturizing serum “Sérum Lacté Réhydratant” is a serum enriched with hyaluronic acid with a milky texture. It is therefore important to shake the product well before use to ensure even distribution and perfect diffusion of the formula. In addition to hyaluronic acid, which hydrates, plumps and smoothes the skin, it contains acacia extract. A cooling duo for the body is essential in summer temperatures. In my adopted home of Italy, Tuscany, the thermometer has been reading a little under 40 degrees every day for weeks. So the cooling duo from Susanne Kaufmann was just what I needed. Cooling duo of body spray and body gel This light body spray is ideal for cooling heated skin. It provides a cooling sensation thanks to menthol and horse chestnut extract. The hydrating care formula not only refreshes our outer skin, but also our senses. In the Netherlands, the brand has long been synonymous with high-quality skin care. Behind it is a doctor from Rotterdam, Dr. Jetske Ultee. Another doctor brand, you might say. Yes, but this medical doctor is a research doctor in cosmetic dermatology. In 2009 she started to share her knowledge on her skincare blog and in 2010 introduced her skin care and make-up line Dr. Jetske Ultee. Why did I choose something as unspectacular as a body cream to test out from your comprehensive line?Because it is finally an honest body cream that does not claim to firm up slack tissue, tighten the skin and smooth cellulite – which never works anyway. I also have to agree with Dr. Ultee, who says, “Finding a good body care product with really effective ingredients is quite difficult.“ Simply cream away dry skin And indeed, the body cream is rich, but neither greasy nor sticky.
