Shake the spray well before each use. Then spray onto dry hair from a distance of about 25 cm, focusing on areas where you want a feather-light texture. The texturizing spray not only adds weightless volume but also provides heat protection and allows you to refresh your style between washes.

The spray is suitable for fine to medium hair and is ideal for hair textures ranging from 1A to 3C. What does that mean? This classification is based on the shape of the hair follicle, the curl pattern (S- or Z-shaped), and the hair’s bounce.

In detail, this means:

Experts define hair type 1 as completely straight, smooth hair with no waves or curls. This hair tends to get oily more quickly, as the natural oils from the scalp can travel unimpeded all the way to the ends. This hair type is further divided into three categories: 1A is relatively rare. The hair is extremely straight and fine, lies very flat against the head, and has hardly any volume or body. 1B is still very straight, but with slightly more texture and volume. It has better elasticity than 1A. 1C is straight, but thicker and more resilient, often with a coarser texture. It usually exhibits slight, barely visible movement.

Hair type 2 features wavy hair that forms a visible S-shape and falls between straight and curly hair. This type is more prone to frizz than straight hair. 2A has very loose, wide waves. The hair is rather flat at the roots and falls in gentle, elongated S-waves. In 2B, the waves are more defined and usually start a little higher up on the head. They form distinct “S-curves” and have more volume than 2A. 2C has the most pronounced waves. Here, the strands are often very thick and form a tight S-shape that can already look corkscrew-like.

People with Type 3 hair have natural, defined curls. They require more intensive moisturizing care, as the scalp’s natural oils have a harder time reaching the lengths due to the hair’s coiled structure. In Type 3A, the curls are large, wide, and loose (“S-curl”). They resemble a spiral. The hair has plenty of natural bounce, a beautiful shine, and is usually relatively easy to style.

Type 3B features springy, medium-sized curls that resemble chalk marks or thick pencils in diameter. They have plenty of volume and are often more tightly packed than 3A. Tight, corkscrew-like curls define Type 3C: they are smaller and lie very close together. Due to the tight curl, this hair tends to dry out very quickly and can shrink by up to half its length (shrinkage).
