Sun serum with Inositol and Buriti Oil

This formula, which combines tanning-activating ingredients with organic sun filters, is intended for daily sun exposure but does not have a self-tanning effect. The main active ingredients are:


Inositol, derived from the pulp of the carob tree, stimulates the natural process of melanogenesis—that is, the skin’s production of melanin. The molecule promotes tanning and prolongs it. Not only does it support the skin’s tanning process, but inositol also counteracts the oxidative stress caused by UV exposure.

Burit oil is known for its high content of carotenoids, which also give the sun serum its orange tint. Its antioxidant effects protect the skin from free radicals and thus from premature aging.

Karanja oil has sun-protective properties and contains the flavonoids pongamol and karanjin, which can absorb some UV rays. It is also rich in fatty acids that strengthen the skin barrier, which is especially important after sun exposure. The emollient effect of karanja oil is further enhanced by buriti oil.

Four latest-generation sunscreen filters

The lightweight, two-phase texture of the sun serum combines four latest-generation sunscreen filters in its broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. They absorb UV rays and allow for application without white streaks, ensuring an even finish for all skin tones. The four complementary filter types were selected based on their safety profile. Easy to use

After shaking, the two phases combine to form a light serum texture. The water-based phase provides a refreshing sensation, while the oil-based phase leaves a pleasant, radiant finish. I really like that, despite the oil-based ingredients, it doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy at all.

Once both phases are mixed, first empty the pipette into the bottle, then draw a full pipette from it. Apply the sun serum as the final step in your skincare routine to your face, neck, and décolletage—before applying any tinted skincare products, such as makeup.

The product comes in a glass bottle with a glass dropper and a polypropylene (PP) ring, both of which are recyclable. The nitrile dropper tip can be disposed of with household trash. The texture of the sunscreen serum consists of ingredients that are 80 percent naturally derived. The product is suitable for daily use. During prolonged sun exposure, you should reapply the sunscreen every two hours.

Tip: If you have oily skin and prefer a more matte finish, you can apply a thin layer of mattifying loose powder over the sun serum on areas prone to excess oil. This reduces shine.
