Tested for you: Ampoule concentrates by Chris Farrell
Concentrates or serum—which is stronger? One key difference is the dosage form. As the name suggests, a concentrate contains active ingredients in very high concentrations. It is packaged in small portions in a glass or plastic ampoule. These are usually used as a course of treatment and achieve results even in the short term. A serum, on the other hand, contains fewer active ingredients than a concentrate (but three times more than a cream!) and delivers lasting results when used continuously. Serums should be part of your daily beauty routine.
High dose, big effect
The mostly thin, almost pure ingredients in a concentrate are real “active ingredient bombs.” They provide the skin with tailor-made doses and penetrate deeper into the skin than a serum. In this case, the saying “the more, the better” actually applies. Concentrates are available for a wide variety of problems. Depending on the formulation, they can be used for different skin needs such as anti-aging, dehydration, irritation, or dull skin.
They are usually applied twice a day. If you only use them once, it is preferable to apply them in the evening, as the skin undergoes natural regeneration at night. Concentrates can be used as a treatment over several days or weeks to strengthen and revitalize the skin and address problems such as blemishes or lack of firmness. Ideally, you should do this two to three times a year.
Concentrates should always be applied to cleansed skin and gently patted in. This is followed by day or night care or a serum plus a day or night cream. Alternatively, a few drops of the product can be mixed with your face cream. The comparatively high price of concentrates is due to the high dosage of the active ingredient and is therefore justified. However, economical use is sufficient here, and results are achieved quickly.
Concentrates by Chris Farrell
The German institute brand Chris Farrell is known for its powerful “problem-solving” products. It has 12 different concentrates in its portfolio alone. I chose four from the extensive range. Incidentally, all Chris Farrell products are produced in Germany by the company itself, are dermatologically tested, and are Peta certified.
Concentrate L – L like liposome
The liposome-containing aloe vera concentrate was specially developed for sensitive and stressed skin. Thanks to its high aloe vera content, it helps to eliminate irritation, burning, and itching. It can also be used to treat skin prone to couperose and, thanks to its soothing effect, is also an ideal after-sun product. It can be applied several times a day as needed.

Also suitable for hydrating scar tissue. It is non-greasy and absorbs immediately. Apply to cleansed face in the morning and evening.

Concentrate pH 5 for a clear complexion
This pore-tightening herbal serum promotes fresh, clear skin. It is particularly recommended for use on oily, blemished, and large-pored skin. Apply morning and evening after cleansing.

Concentrate AB for scars
This vitamin serum is the perfect support for the aftercare of scar tissue and skin damage caused by a lack of moisture and oil. The panthenol contained in the concentrate penetrates deep into the skin, where it can bind moisture. Allantoin, with its softening effect, smooths the skin’s surface and thus ensures better wound healing. Concentrate AB is applied to thoroughly cleansed areas of skin and gently massaged in.

To travel during my profession as a beauty journalist was never enough for my. Also my six month on a world trip didn’t do it. It always attracts me to other cities, foreign countries, on roadtrips and places I don’t know yet. But I am not only interested in “culture” and “cream”, I am also fascinated by people who have stories to tell . Such unique experiences I want to share with you.
