A body serum for the night is a different, promising approach to body skin care. This is far too often criminally neglected. However, just like the face, important repair and regeneration processes take place here while we sleep. The regenerating night body serum from Moroccanoil supplies the cells with highly effective ingredients: A combination of argan and tsubaki oil is rich in antioxidants that prevent loss of firmness and moisture in the tissue. Tulsi (holy basil) extract protects against damaging environmental factors, and vitamin C ester not only has a smoothing and strengthening effect on the skin, but also gives it a more radiant and therefore more youthful appearance. II first read the reviews about the night body serum on the Internet, which I take the time to do in advance for the sake of interest with most products, even if you have to make compromises in terms of authenticity. Incredibly delicious, like a tempting dessert. This alone makes me look forward to my new skincare ritual every evening. Before going to bed, I apply a thin layer to the body. I concentrate mainly on the legs and arms, which are particularly happy about a more youthful appearance. Biobotox in combination with vitamin C sounds interesting. After all, both are helpers against premature ageing of the skin. The latter is not only known as an effective antioxidant that protects the skin from the “evil” free radicals. This is because these can accelerate the ageing process. Vitamin C is partly responsible for the firmness and elasticity of the skin. By stimulating collagen production. Ultimately, this helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Not to forget: The vitamin has a brightening effect. It has the ability to reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots and brightens the complexion. Biobotox instead of botulinum toxin? Biobotox is being hyped as a competitor to Botox therapy in anti-ageing care. But there is no comparison. While botulinum toxin specifically blocks the muscles and paralyzes them for a certain period of time, Biobotox primarily has a relaxing effect on the surface of the skin. The substance is a plant-based active ingredient such as spilanthol from paracress or argireline, an organic chemical compound consisting of six amino acids, which is why it is also known as a hexapeptide. Argireline is also known as “Notox” and is injected as deeply as possible into the skin using microneedling. However, you should never expect the effects of a Botox injection. But for those who are injection-phobic, it is a soft alternative to at least counteract fine expression lines. But that’s not all. The biobotox power serum also contains other highly effective anti-ageing substances. The first is ferulic acid, which has a similar effect to vitamin C (3-O-Vit.C). The two are a powerful duo that activates collagen production. Ferulic acid is an organic compound found in various plants, e.g. stinkash, dill, rice or sweet grasses such as wheat or barley. Purslane is also an active ingredient of plant origin. In German it is also known as purslane extract. In anti-ageing skincare, it is said to have pore-refining, rejuvenating, moisturizing and soothing properties. But more importantly: Purslane is an innovative time-control molecule that protects the telomeres, i.e. the caps of the chromosomes, and thus ensures the longevity of the cells. My test The “Vit C + Biobotox Serum” comes in a brown pipette bottle. This makes sense because vitamin C is extremely sensitive to heat and light. The liquid is also brown. A radiant complexion drop by drop. Yes, that’s what I want – and not just for major holidays and festive occasions, but every day. This means that the glow on my face must not be too penetrating and conspicuous, but must look beautifully subtle. A real radiant complexion. And I have found my perfect recipe for this: Duo for a radiant complexion For my radiant complexion I use the “Glow Concentrate 5% Vitamin C + Aloe Vera” (Glow Drops) and the “9-Ingredient Facial Care”. Both from Typololy. It is the perfect duo for an instant, vibrant glow to the skin. All tiredness disappears from the face. The “Glow Concentrate” contains antioxidant vitamin C and aloe vera for a fresh radiance. The mica particles still look very intensely shimmering in the bottle, but as soon as you use the pipette to mix two to three drops into your foundation, tinted serum or day cream, the shine factor is minimized. In this way, you can also determine the intensity of your glow yourself. For a more intense result, simply add a few more drops. Because I’m not a foundation user, I use Typology’s “9-Ingredient” moisturizer with hyaluronic acid, which is derived from fermented wheat. Another key ingredient is organic coconut oil, which nourishes the skin and prevents it from drying out. I find the minimalist, fragrance-free cream perfect for me because of its light, non-oily texture. This makes it suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin. Good mixture For my personal glow complexion, I put 3-4 Glow Drops in the palm of my hand and mix them with a hazelnut-sized amount of moisturizer. I prefer to use a small spatula for mixing to get a homogeneous amount. I spread it evenly over the entire face. For an extra kick, I also apply a little of the shine concentrate as a highlighter – selectively on the highest point of the cheekbones and/or under both brow arches. In the evening, I cleanse my face as usual with micellar water. For environmental reasons, I use reusable pads that my sister made for me. Retinol – as often as I have already written about this active ingredient, I thought to myself that there simply couldn’t be anything new about it. It is one of the most proven and scientifically recognized substances in medicine and also in skin care. New products are coming onto the market all the time, but they are as similar as two peas in a pod. Hardly any skincare line today does not have a retinol product in its portfolio. Sometimes they contain a little more or a little less of the proven anti-ageing substance or they are based on different derivatives of vitamin A acid. Retinol in a different way Munich dermatologist Dr. Timm Golüke takes a different approach with his new “Retinol Solution”. It is also designed to smooth and firm the skin, giving it a more youthful appearance. The serum minimizes fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation spots, making the complexion appear more even. To achieve this, Golüke uses various substances and technologies. “Retinol Solution” could be described as a multitasking anti-ageing serum. Its main ingredients are vegan. Make-up palettes are not really my thing. Half of the colors and products I’ve bought so far have mostly remained unused. The green was too glittery for me, the mascara brush too thick and greasy, the eyebrow pencil far too hard. As a result, many a palette ended up in the bin at some point. Anything but economical and environmentally friendly. That’s right! That’s why I haven’t bought a palette for a long time. Make-up palette by Loni Baur Why I have now broken my resolution is down to Loni Baur. As a beauty journalist, I have experienced her live as a make-up artist on many occasions. I admire her know-how, creativity and expertise. She is one of the most successful German make-up artists for good reason. Loni has been creating looks for Fashion Weeks for 25 years, has done make-up for stars such as Charlène of Monaco, Gigi Hadid and Lenny Kravitz and has worked with well-known designers and renowned magazines. That’s why I was so excited about her own beauty products and simply had to make an exception for her palette. SOS helpers have a lot to do with me after a long summer like this one with plenty of sun, salt or chlorine water and constant UV protection. The skin is drier than usual – my beautician has also noticed this – and perhaps even a little irritated. Sun creams like to close the pores, and sun wrinkles mercilessly make their way – especially around the eyes and in the cheek area In this phase, the retinol, which is usually alternately part of my care routine in the evening, remains in the beauty cabinet. It offers everything I love when it comes to make-up: a multitasker with which you can conjure up a complete, unexciting make-up in a “stick twist” that only takes a few minutes. I love! Duo Stick: a mix & match concept The upgrade of the vegan Iconic bestseller took two years of development. First, the exterior: The new more robust and user-friendly Duo Stick Case is made of lightweight aluminum in glossy white instead of the previous matte plastic shell. In addition, all external parts are coated with a special transparent and glossy protective lacquer. This not only makes the Duo Stick easier to clean, but also gives it a higher-quality look and makes it more robust and thus more durable.Together with a more sustainable refill option, 43 percent plastic is saved. Since the used, empty refills still have to be disposed of, Kess has chosen polypropylene as the only mono-material for this, as it is easier to recycle and therefore more environmentally friendly. Customized or off the rack The new version of the Duo Stick offers endless customization options for blush and highlighter, as the refills can be replaced individually. You can always buy new shades and insert them into your Duo-Stick case without having to buy another one. I like the individualization and I have also immediately purchased the two new blush shades Flirt and Berry for the next few months. Inserting the refills at the end of the stick is easy thanks to a user-friendly click-in mechanism. You remove the cap of the empty case, click in the refill. When you hear the click, everything fits. Then you remove the clear safety cap from the refill and close it with the cap of the stick. Replacing a refill is just as easy: just pull it out to remove it! Click – blush – glow I am especially happy about “Flirt”. The refreshing red tone with warm undertones is exactly my color. It looks really bright in the pencil, but blended thinly on the cheekbones it gives the perfect “naturally flushed cheeks” look with a satin matte finish. Tested for you: Face oil “Glow Hydration Oil” by Noble Panacea

Face Oil? To say it right up front, I’ve never been a big fan of face oil. So far, they haven’t enjoyed a particularly good reputation in skin expert circles either – too oily, lingering on the skin without the benefit of being able to penetrate deeper to really make a difference. Face Oils Generation 2.0 With the new generation of facial oils, things have changed. And since I am a fan of the French noble brand Noble Panacea – already because of their practical, travel-friendly single doses and the stylish but sustainable packaging – , I decided to go there on a renewed “oil search”. The portfolio of the brand with the “clean” formulas has been expanded with two new face oils: from the series The Absolute the “Nourishing Lift Oil” and from The Brilliant the “Glow Hydration Oil”. I chose the latter because my skin can use an extra dose of moisture after the very warm summer days in Italy. A well-rounded thing The small round single of the face oil tin in bright fuchsia is quickly opened. The portion is just enough for the face. To my taste, the dosages in the discs at Noble Panacea are often a bit small. I noticed this especially with the Vitamin C Booster… But back to my new face oil: The “Glow Hydration Oil” is silky and absorbs quickly. I like that already very well, because I can not stand the “greasy” feeling of very rich products on the skin. The ingredients are high quality and focused on moisture and glow: Hyaluronic acid encapsulated in OSMV technology. Squalane tightens the skin with its cushioning effect. Retinol stimulates collagen and elastin production, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Sea fennel extract replenishes the lipid barrier and thus compensates for deficiencies, allowing the skin to regain its balance. And last but not least, hazelnut kernel oil ensures a supple radiant complexion.. Application evening or daytime? I use the oil in the evening as a soloist. For an additional firm-and-beautiful effect, I massage the product with a Gua Sha stone when I have a lot of time and leisure (happens often!). The moisturizing facial oil can of course also be used during the day. However, it should then be applied as the last step of the care routine over the previously applied products. But that’s exactly why I still shy away from it during the day, because I would then have to apply the oil over my sunscreen – and then my slightly oily T-zone would shine even more.… weiterlesen
