Dry Shampoo Instead Of Washing Your Hair?

Gegen Bad Hair Days gibt es nichts Besseres als Trockenshampoo. Keine Diskussion. Der weiße Puder schenkt den Haaren Grip und Volumen und bringt platte Ansätze sofort wieder zum Stehen. Allerdings hört man immer wieder, Dry Shampoo würde der Kopfhaut schaden und Allergien auslösen. Bloße Spaßverderber oder ist wirklich es dran an den Gerüchten? Trockenshampoos sind für mich unverzichtbar. Kein anderes Beauty-Produkt ist so praktisch und zeitsparend. Es ersetzt zumindest eine Haarwäsche, saugt wie ein Löschblatt überschüssiges Fett von der Kopfhaut. Die Haare sehen im Handumdrehen wieder frisch aus, die Frisur hat Halt und Volumen. Was will man mehr! Das gleicht kein noch so perfekt geschminktes Make-up aus, wenn die Haare platt und mit fettigen Ansätzen am Kopf kleben. Als Alternative geht dann nur noch Joe Cockers Tipp: leave your hat on! Trockenshampoo: Was ist drin? Die typischen Inhaltsstoffe der Sprüh- oder Schütt-Puder sind Silikate (Salze) und Stärke-Mischungen, die oft aus Reis oder Mais gewonnen werden. Sie nehmen den überschüssigen Talg von der Kopfhaut und den fettigen Ansätzen und schließen ihn ein. Das ist der Grund, warum die Haare sofort wie gewaschen aussehen. An diesen Inhaltsstoffen ist nichts problematisch. Hinzu kommen können Duftstoffe, Alkohol, Treibgase, Filmbildner, Talkum und Konservierungsmittel. Wer sehr empfindlich ist und eine extrem trockene Kopfhaut hat, sollte sein Trockenshampoo mit Hilfe einer Produkte-Check-App (z.B. Codecheck) überprüfen. Die gibt genaue Auskunft, welche Stoffe er besser meiden sollte. Aber kann ein Trockenshampoo tatsächlich Haarbruch, Juckreiz, Schuppen oder gar Haarausfall verursachen, wie man immer wieder mal liest? Dazu sagt L’Oreal-Ambassador und Haar-Profi Manfred Kraft: „Trockenshampoo schadet nicht, wenn man es maximal zweimal pro Woche bis zur nächsten Wäsche anwendet.“ Nur wer es öfter oder gar täglich benutzt und die Veranlagung dazu hat, trocknet seine Kopfhaut damit zu stark aus. „Zudem könnten die Talgdrüsen angeregt werden, vermehrt Talg zu produzieren“, so der Experte. Trockenshampoo ist kein Reinigungsprodukt Eines muss man allerdings klarstellen: Trocken-Puder sind kein Ersatz für ein Styling-Produkt und noch weniger für eine echte Haarwäsche. Frauen, die dem Trockenshampoo ihre irritierte Kopfhaut und ausgetrocknete Haare bis hin zum Haarbruch anlasten, haben meist ganz auf die reinigende Wäsche verzichtet mit der Begründung, dass häufiges Haarewaschen ja schädlich für das Haar sei. Aber Trockenshampoo ist nun mal kein Reinigungsprodukt, auch wenn der Name auf eine falsche Fährte führen könnte. Trockenshampoo absorbiert lediglich das Fett und beseitigt das strähnige Aussehen der Haare. The new correcting pencil from Sisley seems to be a real magic pencil. It says, “Stylo Correct is a corrective concealer pencil. It offers a flawless complexion with its high-coverage formula and creamy texture that blends seamlessly. The luminous matte finish instantly conceals imperfections, smooths and reduces the appearance of blemishes, and visually minimizes pigmentation flaws.“ The colour range is huge indeed. It comes in 11 different shades with neutral undertones and five intensity levels from Fair to Deep. You’re sure to find the right color for every skin. And that, after all, is the prerequisite for a perfect complexion in the nude look. The color of the corrector must blend with the skin. Another plus: as the perfect complement to makeup, all correcting pencils match the foundation shades from Sisley. A correcting pencil for a perfect teint Practical at the correction pencil I find already at first glance the double-tip format with a soft, fine and rounded concealer pencil at one end. Mica – The Sad Story Behind

Ever heard of mica? And you probably have it somewhere in your cosmetics bag. Because mica is the pigment that makes eye shadows, powders and lipsticks shimmer so beautifully. But it’s not just makeup products that are adorned with the precious pearlescent shimmer. Mica is also used for coatings, for example in the automotive industry. The pigment is not the real problem, but how it is obtained. In itself, mica is not evil. It is a naturally occurring mineral. So it is not problematic for the user. But its extraction often takes place under inhumane conditions – through child labor. This must be stopped. The first steps have already been taken. A major step in the right direction is an initiative that was founded in January 2017. At that time, representatives of 20 companies and organizations worldwide got together and founded the “Responsible Mica Initiative” (RMI). Its goal is to eliminate child labor in mica supply chains. All RMI members must commit to buying only raw substances from legal mines. The association is also committed to transparency and the implementation of workplace standards for mine workers. The initiative now has 80 members from all sectors of industry. These include Chanel, Clarins, Coty, Shiseido, L’Oréal, Sephora, H&M, Porsche and the BMW Group. The children’s charity Terre des Hommes is also part of it. The versatile mineral Mica is a term that comes from Latin. It means something like “glitter” or “shine”. The sheen typical of mica depends on the particle size. The smaller the particle size, the more matte the pigments are and the higher the opacity. “The size of the pigment also determines how shiny something is. A soft eyeshadow needs smaller particles to make it look smooth. Smaller particles create shine, while larger particles create a strong glitter effect,” explains makeup developer Rowena Bird from the cosmetic company lush. The silicate mineral is used in various products from blush to make-up pencils, from nail polish to carnival colors. Mica can even be found in children’s products such as shower gel, bath soap and toothpaste. And because it makes powders easier to make, it is often used as a filler in mineral makeup. Tinted sun care – what I think about it? I am a sunscreen junkie. But since I also like to even out a few uneven spots in my complexion, I wear partial makeup. And I find that legitimate even on the beach. It does not have to be the big make-up aria, but a little “corriger la fortune”. That’s why I also test tinted sun care again and again. Tinted sun care versus makeup The great thing about it: You save a care step with it and the color pigments offer additional UV protection, at the same time they can also cover small irregularities. Advantage over make-up products with SPF: The filters in tinted sun care are significantly higher and more powerful, so they are also suitable for vacations or real sunny days. More and more companies launch just such products, but so far I could not really make friends with any. Either they were too opaque for me that I really looked made up to plastered. Or the texture was too greasy. Or the color was just not right, because usually there are not so many shades to choose from as with normal foundations. And here is my test „Fusion Water Color SPF 50″ also has only three shades available. I opt for “medium”. And it works amazingly well: it’s transparent enough to blend with the skin tone. The texture is light and leaves no greasy residue, but – a nice glow! And, even though it’s so light, it conceals bumpy patches. Good mixture… My complexion looks more even. If necessary, I take, as with make-up also, one drop more and equalize redness around the nostrils. And since I now also have a bit of summer tint on my face (this also happens with factor 50), I mix “Fusion Water Color” with the untinted “Fusion Water” sun product. Does A Gender-Neutral Lipstick Really Exist?

Beauty brands that offer gender-neutral makeup are mushrooming. Gender freedom may make sense in other areas, but isn’t a bit excessive when it comes to makeup? The question arises, what distinguishes a lipstick for women from a lipstick for each sex? Does that make sense or is it all just marketing again? When it comes to defining gender, fine distinctions are made today. We no longer simply speak of women and men, but are cis-women and cis-men. These are those who identify as “male” or “female” with the gender recorded on their birth certificate and clearly say of themselves “I am a woman” or “I am a man.” “Cis-“, by the way, comes from Latin and in this context means, this side, within, inside, and is thus the opposite of trans-, on the other side, over, across. In addition to these cis people, there are trans male/trans man (trans man, born a woman, now a man) and trans female/trans woman (trans woman, born a man, now a woman), also gender queer/gender non-conforming (gender neutral, without gender role) and finally different identities. Cosmetics was long female occupied You have to admit that all PR campaigns and commercials released by cosmetic companies in the last decades have been female-centric. Too often they are paid promos, and there is certainly nothing bad said about it. But the hype of the KVD Vegan Beauty “Good Apple Foundation” that went viral made me curious about the new tattoo-inspired vegan makeup brand. The skin-refining foundation with apple extract is supposed to provide a perfect complexion that resembles a juicy apple, it says in countless videos. Above all, the coverage, the pleasantly light texture and the long durability are praised. Concealer instead of make-up As a longtime makeup refuser, I can not judge, so I waited until recently the “Good Apple Lightweight Full-Coverage Concealer” came on the market. It is also enriched with apple extract, has antioxidant properties and provides the sensitive eye skin with an extra dose of care and moisture. I love Italy. That’s why I was immediately drawn to the bronzing collection – because of its packaging in cobalt blue and brown.
