Wahre Schönheit kommt von Innen, heißt es immer. Und gerade wenn es um glatte Haut und straffes Bindegewebe geht, spielt Kollagen eine wichtige Rolle. Es ist schließlich das am meisten im menschlichen Körper vorkommende Protein. Dabei verleiht die Aminosäuren ihm nicht nur Elastizität, Stabilität und Spannkraft, sondern bindet auch Feuchtigkeit. Das wiederum lässt die Haut prall und glatt erscheinen. Nicht zuletzt sorgt Kollagen für vollere Haare und kräftigere Nägel. Leider nimmt die körpereigene Produktion bereits ab dem 25. Lebensalter ab. Aber können Kapseln und Pülverchen das tatsächlich auffangen?
Rühren und schlucken
Ich habe mir beides von Glow25 bestellt. Täglich soll ich 1-2 Esslöffel von dem Hydrolysat (aus zertifizierter Weidehaltung) in Shakes, Smoothies oder Suppen geben. Manche rühren es auch unter den Kaffee, heißt es. Aber den Geschmack will ich mir nicht verderben lassen. Also wird mein grüner Smoothie morgens jetzt täglich mit dem Pulver angereichert, da schmeckt man es kaum. Zusätzlich nehme ich mittags und abends zwei Kollagen-Kapseln ein und trinke ein großes Glas Wasser dazu. Die Kapseln sind mit Hyaluronsäure, Granatapfel-Extrakt und Vitamin C angereichert. Studien beweisen, dass der Körper ausreichend Vitamin C benötigt, damit er das zugeführte Kollagen verwerten kann. Ein sogenannter Co-Faktor, um die einzelnen Bausteine in die komplexen Strukturen einzubauen.
Mehr Power beim Yoga
Die ersten Wochen passiert gar nichts. Aber nach vier Wochen stelle ich fest, dass meine Haut im Gesicht und am Körper Haut glatter ist und vor allem trockene Partien verschwunden sind. Auch die Nägel sind deutlich fester. Was mir aber ganz besonders auffällt nach weiteren zwei Wochen Kollagen-Einnahme, ist, dass ich beim Yoga gelenkiger bin. Die „Krähe“ kriege ich jetzt locker hin. Auch nach einer längeren, anstrengenden Tour zu Fuß oder per Fahrrad erholen sich meine Muskulatur und Gelenke deutlich schneller. Nichts knackt mehr.
